A Time To CLEAN

Today is the day to get back into cleaning and organizing my homeand I am starting in my closet! WOW is it a mess. My closet has been a catch all for storage.. things that I need to keep but dont know where to go with. (babybooks, first days of school, cards from babies and so on. I also have a dresser in there for Steve's clothes and 2 clothes rods. it is a nice sized closet, but has not been used to it's potential.

I bought some storage cubes ( wooden ) and stacked them in there along the longest wall and hope to be able to put some clothing in those. I have 2 dressers in my bedroom. One with a mirror and the other is a smaller old dresser that I would really like to get rid of..... hmmmmm, Maybe Steve can use that one in the shed??

We inherited an old office chair from Steve's great grandpa which has been occupying my closet for a couple of years now. (simply because we dont want the kids using it because it is in a fragile state.) I am hoping to add another shelf so I can store our camping stuff and christmas tree above the hanging clothes. Those have been sitting in my bedroom..... no wonder I never want company! My whole house is this disorganized. Looking around my earthly home makes me really look forward to the mansion that God is making for us. I can't wait to see the closets in there! :)

The picture posted above was taking right after I got the cubes together. I moved the dresser to the other wall. I plan to take another pic after I finish and will post that too! :)

as promised! Here are the after pics. It took me all day to get it the way I wanted it and now, it is something I can be proud off (and use again!) Now, On to the bedroom! I dont think I will post before pics of that, it's just to embarassing!

Boy do I ever understand, my closet always seems to need cleaning. Most of the stuff in my closet are books we have no shelf room for. and when one of my children go in there to get a book they remess things up.

Oh, the life of being a mom, It's wonderful.
